Sauvignon gris is pretty rare. Less than 2% of Bordeaux white contains this mutant of the world-famous sauvignon blanc.
Petite Fugue is a sauvignon gris-dominant blend from Bergerac (just a few hours east of Bordeaux).
This has got a medium-full body with a wonderful mouthfeel and a really honeyed finished. There's some great aroma complexity here from white flowers, gooseberry and lemon, through to oak influence, some awakening minerality, plus enough herbs and spices to transport you of a French field.
