Les Vignerons d'Estézargues are a unique cooperative located in the south of France with a small producer mindset. They work with ten principal growers located throughout the Gard and Southern Rhône. Wines are made from different vineyards and vinified together, allowing the co-op to experiment with styles. Grapes are fermented with native years and bottled unfiltered. Each wine is named after the domaine who provided the grapes.
I love Côtes du Rhône and this proves no different! Blueberry, blackberry, black pepper, cedar, and herbs line the nose. There's some great bite of tannins and acidity on the palate, with a hint of caramel and tobacco to finish things off.
