This gamay from Chateau Thivin has banana, pomegranate and raspberry aromas.
It's got a lovely amount of tannin with a kick that gives a bit more than your usual Beaujolais. Chateau Thivin is the oldest estate on Mount Brouilly. It's been in the Geoffray family for six generations, with all of them named Claude.
